Job requirements 

Potential candidates should demonstrate the following experience and skills

  • Master’s or PhD with a strong link to or interest in sustainability and financial institutions
  • Excellent understanding of banks and insurance business models, context and challenges
  • Financial, technical, societal and/or legal knowledge of sustainable finance and FI’s climate risks & opportunities
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in strategic corporate consulting, business development or project management in the field of sustainable finance, climate change, ESG is an asset
  • Good knowledge of socio-economic implications of transition plans
  • Highly creative and autonomous, with strong teamwork skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong empathy and customer relationship management skills
  • Experience in or knowledge of data mining, data analysis and modelling tools, in addition to proficiency in Excel and MS Office tools.
  • Experience in GHG emissions inventories and decarbonization strategies for FI’s is an asset
  • Strong communication skills at an executive level is a strong asset.
  • A good understanding of corporate project finance is a plus
  • Work experience in France and/or the Netherlands is an asset
