Its “Prospective analyses” business unit provides medium to long term (prospective) advice on the understanding, implications and trade-offs of the energy and climate transition (for Public sector, NGOs, Foundations, and industry federations.

We develop sophisticated, user-friendly and open-source models on the energy and climate systems at the global, national and local levels – and use our findings to improve energy and climate policy.

Job description
The consultant will be part of a team of experienced modellers and consultants working on Prospective studies, with the following responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to a combination of quantitative and qualitative projects. The quantitative projects typically rely on the modelling expertise (inhouse and external), with the design and interpretation of scenarios and roadmaps, identifying relevant insights, learnings and key recommendations.
- Manage consultancy projects on energy and climate change.
- Presenting key relevant messages and results to senior management levels.
- Business development and preparation of energy and climate change proposals for Administrations, NGOs, foundations and industry federations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills is a must. Relevant experience in modelling is an asset.
- Presentation and communication skills to interact with clients is key, including contributing to reports and proposals. Language skills are a strong asset (EN & FR & NL).
- Strong ability to work in a team, and ambition to grow towards a team leadership role.
- Engineering/management/environmental/economics degree.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in management consulting is a strong asset
- · 0 to 5 years of relevant experience in the energy transition, or in a sector which consumes of produces energy is a strong asset.
- Strong drive to contribute to the climate change challenge.
- A good sense of creativity and autonomy.
